This tour led by librarian and archivist Heidi Johnson '08 will highlight student spaces that are both a part of our history and have also seen some recent new additions. We will start in the front entrance between the two towers on the first floor of Tower Hall and tour the new Student Center.

Tour ~ Morning Stroll Featuring the Daisy Farm

8:45 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.

Join librarian and archivist Heidi Johnson '08 on a walk around the grounds of our campus remembering the days when it was a working farm. The tour will leave from the Benedictine Commons and end at the new student center. In case of rain, there will be an indoor presentation and tour of the Student Center.

North Shore Scenic Railroad Pizza Train

5:15 - 8:30 p.m.

History comes alive on the Lakefront Line. Depart the historic Duluth Union Depot for a trip through downtown Duluth, Canal Park, along the shore of Lake Superior and deep into the majestic north woods. This fully narrated tour tells the history of Duluth, the harbor, and the stories of the railroads that built northern Minnesota and Wisconsin. Enjoy pizza, soda and dessert. The train also includes a concession stand and limited bar.

Our talented instructor, Northern Exposure Painting, will guide you through the process step-by-step, ensuring that you leave with a masterpiece of your own creation. All painting supplies will be provided.
